Desde 2017 producimos nuestros materiales con altas porcentajes de Canapa pregiata, métodos de hilado patentados, tintes innovadores y acabados especiales.
Nuestras telas o las técnicas de Tejido son el resultado de 10 años de estudios, mejorados y refinados año tras año que no encontrarás en ningún otro lugar. Todo esto es posible gracias a nuestra dimensión (pequeña y artesanal) y a la fuerte sinergia con proveedores exclusivamente italianos capaces de concretar nuestras ideas.

Del semilla al producto
Muchas marcas ahora dicen “from the artisan to the product” or “del campo al producto.” Since 2017, we have had control from seed to product—that’s why we’re called “Opera Campi,” porque todo proviene de los campos. Por supuesto, aún no podemos hacer todo de manera independiente, pero conocemos la variedad de semillas, sabemos dónde están los campos y, una vez que tenemos el hilo de cáñamo, gestionamos todo de manera autónoma en Italia.

El primer paso es seleccionar la mejor variedad de semilla. No todas las semillas de Canapa son adecuadas para producir la mejor calidad de hilo. Nosotros utilizamos dos variedades: la Futura 75 y la Dragon 3.
los campos
Cultivar el cáñamo con la humedad adecuada, en los terrenos más fértiles, determina de manera relevante la calidad del hilo y del tejido final. Desde siempre, Opera Campi selecciona los mejores campos, los mejores cultivadores, los mejores hiladores, definiendo un "plant index", es decir, una calificación a la calidad de la planta.
fibra y hilo
Del campo llega la fibra macerada y desmenuzada, que luego se hila. Desde 2017 utilizamos los hilos de Canapa más preciados. No importa su origen: solo nos fijamos en la calidad necesaria para nuestros tejidos. El hilo de Canapa elegido por Opera Campi es de largo tilo, hilado en húmedo, analizado periódicamente en laboratorio.
tejidos y punto italianos
Del hilo, Opera Campi realiza rigurosamente el resto del proceso en Italia. Dependiendo del producto final, trabajamos el hilo en tejido, con máquinas circulares o en punto, también la tintura es exclusiva con recetas de colores elaboradas por nosotros. Trabajar con la Canapa lo hacen pocos porque es costoso y requiere personalizar las máquinas: algo que Opera Campi ha hecho durante años trabajando en estrecha colaboración con el genio textil italiano.

El toque final de Opera Campi es el acabado. Por acabado entendemos el conjunto de operaciones para teñir, suavizar, mejorar la tela o la prenda terminada. Algunos de estos pasos incluyen recetas especiales y naturales inventadas por Opera Campi, como "Macera": la solución a base de agua que suaviza la Canapa.

Real fine natural Hemp yarn is woven into a delicate canvas to become one of our classiest fabric.
Butter Hemp®
Butter Hemp® is our lightest Hemp fabric ever woven. It's a jersey fabric made of the thinnest Hemp fabric. It has been appreciated by textile technicians as the "impossible Hemp fabric".
Active Butter Hemp®
Making a sweatshirt fabric with a high Hemp composition has been a dream for many manufacturers. After years of trials and ideas, Opera Campi added 4% Elasthane to our proprietary 100% Hemp woven fabric to improve elasticity and durability.
Canardina
“Canardina” is a Hemp gabardine, introduced for the first time by Opera Campi. Gabardine is a fabric known for its lightness combined with quality and durability, thanks to the use of very fine yarns that are woven with an almost exaggerated density. The result, when made with Hemp, is a premium summer and mid-season fabric, crafted from very fine yarns (not strictly necessary for this type of fabric) that, when twisted, make the fabric more robust and suitable for trousers, jackets, and other important garments.
Cashemp
Cashemp is a simple, intelligent idea: wrapping thin Italian Hemp filaments around a warm cashmere yarn. The result is a yarn which is strong as Hemp, warm as Cashmere. At first touch you might find it cold: it's the confirmation of the supreme thermal property.
Century-Old Canvas
The centuries-old hemp canvas is recovered from rolls of Italian hemp woven roughly between 1750 and 1900. These rolls are preserved by enthusiasts who have collected them from the grandmothers of friends, or from expert antique dealers. It is a deep search, and each roll is unique. We only select rolls with the weight most suitable for the product to be made. The limited height of the rolls requires careful and manual cutting of the fabric. In terms of quality, being canvases that were made with robust and high-quality threads, it is undoubtedly one of the most durable natural fabrics in the world. The abrasion of the centuries has made these fabrics naturally soft to the touch.
Herotex
The natural fabric with premium performance for all year round, made with a patented technology to make Hemp elastic without reducing the natural composition.
Herotex Canvas
The patented fabric and the world's first elastic hemp. Developed by Opera Campi in 2019, Herotex Canvas is the rawest version of Herotex, featuring a traditional weave but innovative due to its light elasticity, which makes the fabric more comfortable and eliminates the typical wrinkles of hemp.
Iperfine 100% Hemp
Iper-lightweight hemp yarn (36nm), knitted using ultra-lightweight techniques thanks to the use of special fully mechanical Japanese machines that are unavailable on the market. These machines, modified by Opera Campi, allow results that modern digital machines—accustomed to more manageable threads—are unable to achieve.
Knitted Cashemp
Cashemp is the finest encounter hemp could ever have. The best Cashmere from Hircus goats of the Gobi Desert (Mongolia) is combined with Opera Campi’s most precious hemp. Thanks to a modification of our Japanese knitting machines, we created a unique feel. On the outer layer, hemp traps air with its excellent thermal properties, while on the inner layer the fine Cashmere, incredibly soft against the skin, generates and retains unmatched warmth. The result is a remarkable garment: clean, sharp, almost rustic on the outside. Luxurious and ultra-soft on the inside. A smart idea in every way: more sustainable thanks to 49% hemp, more affordable thanks to the reduced amount of Cashmere, warmer thanks to the combination of two yarns with complementary qualities.
Knitted Lanapa®
Lanapa is our warmest invention. It's made out of 70% Fine Merino Wool and 30% our premium Hemp. This unique combination makes the fabric warm and sustainable throughout the cold seasons.
Primitive Denim
The tradition of our Hemp weaving has created the finest 100% Hemp denim possible. Thanks to its twisted composition, it is even more durable, with an intense dark blue color that can appear highly elegant.
Superfine 100% Hemp
Ultra-lightweight hemp yarn (24nm), knitted using ultra-lightweight techniques thanks to the use of special fully mechanical Japanese machines that are unavailable on the market. These machines, modified by Opera Campi, allow results that modern digital machines—accustomed to more manageable threads—are unable to achieve.
Velina
The finest woven Hemp fabric in the world. Created exclusively for our shirting line, it’s the most elegant yet lightweight material ever made. Thanks to a special aloe treatment, it achieves an unparalleled softness. The moment you touch it, it feels like a baby’s skin—yet it’s not delicate: Hemp makes it an extraordinarily durable fabric.
