"super fabric"
Denim Primitivo is a super fabric for two reasons. It is made from twisted Hemp thread, which is stronger than a single yarn. Its structure, created by combining two very fine threads, results in a solid, tough, and resilient yarn.
Additionally, each thread is individually dyed—a more expensive process compared to piece dyeing, but one that ensures a richer and longer-lasting color.
primitive feeling
Its extremely precise irregularity, the natural hemp fibers protruding from the threads, its robustness, and the additional twisting process—unnecessary, yet done solely to make it more durable. It is primitive because it feels like a fabric from an ancient, forgotten world.
rivets
In creating its jeans, Opera Campi developed dozens of prototypes, consulting denim experts with decades of experience. We even designed our own custom rivets, forged in Parma, Italy.
