from 1700 to today
Alberto Ziveri and his team founded Opera Campi in Italy in 2017. The creation stemmed from a curious story around the discovery of a pond used in the production of hemp over 100 years ago. Since our founding, we have introduced unprecedented Hemp fabric innovations every year.

Many brands purchase ready-made fabrics. Opera Campi not only designs and develops its fabrics in Italy, but does so by specializing in a single raw material: Hemp. From seed to product, we represent an inimitable supply chain.
Since our founding, we have created truly unique fabrics such as the softest hemp, Burro Canapa®, Lanapa®, and Herotex. Through our work, we also support the fragile Italian textile district, which is in need of new ideas.

Opera Campi has been founded by web developer Alberto Ziveri. Our website is entirely made in-house! There are some little innovations:
- Analytics Free: our website doesn't have any Analytics at all. We don't need data to sell more product, we prefer to concentrate on quality improvements instead. Learn more in this article.
- Size Recommender: in each product you will find a size recommender tool to quickly determine your size. The tool has been completely developed from scracth together with our tailors.
- Design and overall technology: quick loading, high quality images, lots of videos. We take care of everything internally. Opera Campi is probably the first brand with both website and products designed and developed by just one person. It means an unparalled level of authenticity and uniqueness.
